Alcoholism treatment programs believe that relapse is a part of recovery.

Some alcoholism treatment programs believe that relapse is a part of recovery from alcohol dependency.

So it is no wonder the national relapse rate is 80%.

WHY IS THAT?

According to the laws of mind:  what you believe to be true is true.

In today’s science of mind research we understand more about how the brain works, we know that neuroplasticity (brain is always changing) naturally occurs, we understand about how mirror neurons operate (these force us to feel the way others feel) and we know how a neural pathway creates a emotional response and therefore a behavior (new pathways can be created).

So with all of those advances in science, we are still teaching in the alcoholism treatment programs ideas that work against a person, rather than using the processes of the brain to work for them and to make sobriety a part of recovery, not relapse.

If a person is told they are…

  • powerless
  • that relapse is a part of recovery
  • just not at your bottom yet
  • going to struggle daily
  • at risk for a low success rate
  • an alcoholic, and its a life time disease

…then that is likely what they come to believe and therefore experience.   It seems typical alcoholism treatment programs seem to teach people the opposite of what they need to.  And perhaps why they have a low success rate.

HYPNOTHERAPY as a part of alcoholism treatment programs, a 77% success rate.

How about sobriety being a part of recovery?  It is the law of mind that dictates our recovery so if a person believes they will relapse they will. We educate our clients on how the mind works and then offer positive suggestions for being in control and powerful.  We also examine and release the source of the drinking problem.Give them a positive outlook on the future and remove the triggers that cause the impulse to drink.

The HYPNOSIS philosophy is this:

  • What you believe about yourself creates your behaviors.
