Women obsessed with having a trim body will do anything to get it, rationalizing it is “good for them” because they will be thinner.

What is interesting is that addressing body image and self esteem would be a natural method to combat the obsession.

Perhaps there is a disconnect between how people really feel about themselves.  Obviously.
